Following on from the 2024 snow season and the significant changes implemented during this time, we will be continuing these changes, along with introducing some others. The newer changes for the 2025 snow season include no ski lessons or ski hire on resort, the resort will now be cashless, and the toboggan tickets will now include the use of a compliant Lake Mountain toboggan.
For more information on these changes, please view the attached brochure/page.
The pricing has been finalised for Lake Mountain resort entry, rental items and the toboggan tickets.
As stated on the pricing list, all prices do not include any transaction fees. There will also be the opportunity for valid Australian Senior Card holders to receive a 10% discount off an adult toboggan ticket or rental items for each cardholder. This discount can only be redeemed on resort.
Resort entry and toboggan tickets will be available to pre-purchase online via our website by late May, helping guests to better plan and prepare for their day trip!
Cashless in 2025
Beginning in winter 2025, ARV will be moving towards all purchases being made digitally, either online, or on resort via debit or credit card ONLY. This move is reflective of the broader step-change in the culture at the moment, where cash is no longer the preferred method of payment for the majority of travellers.
This change will come into effect on June 7th 2025 for all products and services offered by Lake Mountain Alpine Resort.
The key benefits of making this change include:
On April 6th 2025, Lake Mountain hosted round three of the Victorian Gravity Enduro MTB Series along the Cascades Trail. With five timed sections and over 150 participants, ranging from ages 11 to 60+ years old, it was an unforgettable day!
We were thrilled to be a part of the event, providing the shuttle service and having a presence at the podium in the afternoon. It was great to see Marysville booming with riders and their families who travelled far and wide to participate in the ride.
Lake Mountain are already looking forward to hosting again in 2026!
As the winter season is fast approaching, our MTB shuttles will be wrapping up on Sunday 27th April 2025. We want to thank all of the riders who chose to book a shuttle with us, helping to keep the service running and provide much needed support to the upkeep of the Cascades trail.
The trail network will no longer be maintained by our crews until October. Please assess the trail conditions and suitability for riding in the interim.
We hope to see you out and about on our extensive trail network next season!
Seasonal casual positions within the Visitor Services and Food & Beverage teams are still available to apply. We are seeking any locals who may be interested in weekend only work, for either Saturday and Sunday or both, or even throughout the school holiday period.
Work is now completed on the new battery integration for our off-grid power supply. This will substantially improve the resort’s ability to access solar power, including during winter and is part of a long-term focus on improving the power supply reliability and the energy performance of the resort operations.
Lake Mountain is finalising a partnership arrangement for the Cafe this winter – please monitor our social media channels for an impending announcement.
Lake Mountain will again be holding a locals family day prior to the official season opening. This will be on Thursday 5th June 2025 – stay tuned to our social media pages for more information.
We look forward to hosting as many locals as possible with all activities and entry free of charge on the day!
