WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED

You can hire all of your snow gear and equipment here on mountain, so you don’t have to stress about carrying it up to the resort with you and after an exciting day in the snow, you can leave all of your wet gear with us!

For hygiene reasons we do not hire gloves, socks, goggles or beanies. These items are available for purchase in the retail area.

Lake Mountain Alpine Resort rental departments are open from 8am to 4pm, with all rentals returned by 3.30pm.

WHERE TO HIRE

We have two rental locations at the resort, each renting specific items:

RENTAL DEPARTMENT

Need clothing, snow boots and a toboggan? Head to our rental department! [Storage bags also available here]

Only need a toboggan? Head to our Snowsports department! [Ski equipment and snowshoes also available here]

ON MOUNTAIN RENTAL PROCESS

What is required to hire at the resort?

All visitors wanting to rent from our Rental Department or Snow Sports Department, must have a valid credit card, Mastercard, Visa card or debit card (no American Express), along with a form of ID such as a Driver’s License or Passport, under the same name as the bank card.

Guests that cannot produce the requirements will be unable to rent from either of the rental departments on mountain.

Why is a bank card required to hire?

The pre-authorisation is a new system that Lake Mountain has adopted to ensure that all gear is returned at the end of the day. The pre-authorisation is a hold that Lake Mountain staff will place on your bank card whilst you are renting the gear for the day, from both the Rental and Snow Sports Department. When returning your items, the staff member will check that all items have been returned and take off the pre-authorisation.

In the event that the rental items are not returned by the end of the day, the pre-authorisation will be charged to your bank card to reflect the cost of the missing item.
