Little Mountain, Big Excursion

Cross county Skiing, Beginner Snowboarding and and Snow-play excursions for school groups

There’s plenty to do on our little mountain and loads for your school kids to learn. We’re Melbourne’s closest alpine resort, located just two hours from the CBD so getting here is a just a bus trip away.

With over 35km of marked ski trails, our mountain has all bases covered from short, beginner loops for newbies and more challenging terrains for those with more snow experience.

We also have lessons just for primary schoolers who need some extra guidance on mastering the snow on skis and learning to balance on boards.

There’s loads of other activities too like our Ski Orienteering Program that teaches kids to navigate a map while out on the cross-country trails or fun tactical games of Laser Skirmish that focus on teambuilding. If your group are first timers and just wanting to experience the snow, you are also welcome to simply spend your day sliding down slopes and slipping down our tube runs.

Take a look at our many packages to choose a big day out that best suits your school group.

This longer-term development program is available for both primary and high school students.

Race program

Looking at cross-country ski racing, interschool sports or other national race coaching? We’re able to support potential new racers with technical coaching, race preparation and development. Contact our Snowsports center for more information on how we can help you develop a training program.

SCHOOL CAMPS AND OFF-MOUNTAIN ACCOMMODATION

If your school is interested in the full outdoor environmental experience, stay a little longer and camp out overnight at several locations dotted throughout our resort. While we don’t have any accommodation onsite, there are plenty of accommodation options available down the mountain in Marysville if camping is not your thing.
