A guide for your big day

There’s plenty to do on our little mountain, so use this guide to help you plan your big day.

You’ll find loads of activities for all ages in and around our Village and if you’re looking for something a bit more challenging, we have over 35kms of cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails that take you out through the snowgums into an amazing winter landscape.

1. Go tobogganing

Slide down a slope on one of the three toboggan runs we have dotted around the village. Renting a toboggan is only $15 and you can use it the whole day.

2. Get your kids snowboarding

We offer the highly regarded Burton Riglet (3-6 years) and Burton LTR children’s (7-14 years) snowboarding lessons, giving your kids all the support they need when they are first starting out. Book one-on-one lessons for your kids and set them on their way to becoming master shredders.

3. Build a snowman at Possum Park

Take a break from the slopes and build a snowman with the family or practice your snowball throwing skills at Possum Park.

4. Explore over 35km of ski trails

From short, easy loops to more challenging trails, our little mountain has over 35km of some of Australia’s best cross-country skiing tracks.

5. Learn to ski cross-country

Our ski school runs hour-long cross-country lessons for all ages. Make a booking at the ticket booth plus take advantage of our lesson/rental deal that includes equipment and clothing hire.

6. Ride the 240m dual flying fox

Enjoy the view and experience the thrill of the 240m dual flying fox alongside your friends and family. Make sure you book early, though. The flying fox always books out!

7. Slide down the Tube Run

Slide and spin down our 100m Tube Run. Go it alone or double up with the kids with three rides for $10pp.

8. Tag someone at Laser Skirmish

Get kitted out in laser tag gear and play a tactical game of Laser Skirmish with your mates.

9. Go for a snow shoe

Don’t feel like skiing? Rent a pair of snow shoes and head out for a stroll on the ski trails or be part of one of our guided tours.

10. Have something to eat

Escape the cold and cosy up with a hot drink from our on-mountain café with a range of delicious snacks on offer, or visit the bistro for a more substantial, hearty meal.
