Upper Granite Grind

The start of the full Cascades trail, UGG is the original technical, hand-built classic. Great views, rocky, raw, cross country trail. Stretch your skills and work on your technique in this tight, short, single track. Includes great views from the Summit.

Lower Granite Grind

The Lower Granite Grind (LGG) comes out at the bottom of the Upper Granite Grind (UGG), descends to a river crossing, before turning back uphill along a single track for a 2km climb back to the resort. A nice workout that goes through the old logging ruins and mountain ash forest.
