Lake Mountain Events

The inaugural Granite Grind was held on the 20th February 2010 attracting almost 200 mountain bike riders. The event was based on a 9km single track race loop with one and two lap options.

Marysville Lake Mountain Challenge – The Ventou Marysville Lake Mountain Challenge was started in 2009 as a fire relief ride to raise money for the local community and attract visitors back to the area, with over 1500 cyclists entering.

The Lake Mountain Sprint is held during March each year. The sprint is a tarmac car rally made up of timed runs between the Lake Mountain ticket box and the main village car park.

The Alpine Ascents Challenge – are you up for it? The challenging ride from Marysville to Lake Mountain is one of the seven peaks to conquer as part of the Alpine Ascents Challenge. The event is growing in numbers each year, with more and more people taking up the challenge.
