Ralph Booth - Chairman - Founding Director - Quark Management Technology
Ralph is one of the Founding Directors of QMT - a public sector specialist innovative think-tank organisation. In addition Ralph owned and operated the corporate advisory firm - Quark Management Technologies for 6 years which provided business management corporate advisory services to both public and private sector clients. Prior to starting this corporate advisory company, Ralph worked for 13 years as a senior executive with the Department of Treasury and Finance in a variety of roles in debt management, liability management, asset management, risk management and financial and budget reform. Ralph is a keen cyclist and a 'lapsed' cross-country skier.
Jennifer Hutchison - Deputy Chair
Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to her role as Deputy Chair of Lake Mountain. She is the immediate past CEO of Yarra Valley and The Dandeongs Marketing, a position she held for three years. Prior to that Jennifer worked in sales and marketing fror Mansfield-Mt Buller. This followed 16 years in senior management in recruitment, organisational change and business development in technical and industrial markets. Jennifer 's background combines extensive international and domestic business development experience in technical and industrial markets. She is a keen skier and bushwalker, cyclist and maintains active interest in tourism and cooperative land management.
Dr John Miller
John is particularly interested in environmental management and has held a position on the Mt Buller Alpine Resort Management Board, Mt Baw Baw Management Board in the past and is now also on the South Gippsland Management Board. John is a Professorial Fellow at Swinburne Victoria University. John has been President of the Accounting Profession in Australia and introduced CPA to Australian Accountancy. He holds double Masters standing in the World Cross-Country Ski Marathon Association. John was awarded the AO and the Australian Centenary Medal for services to accounting, education and the community. John has been on the Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort Management Board for two years.
Phil Nunn - Chartered Accountant
Phil has extensive organizational leadership experience having been Chief Executive of the Mt Buller and Mt Stirling Alpine Resort Management Board , Chief Executive of the Geelong Football Club, Business Manager of the Carlton Football Club and General Manager of the prestigious Barwon Heads Golf Club. These roles followed on from a period at KPMG Peat Marwick in Melbourne, where Phil was responsible for servicing an array of small to medium sized businesses across a wide range of industries, providing accounting, taxation, audit and small business management advice. During his time at KPMG Phil became the Manager of the National Office for the Private Business Division, wrote and co-ordinated the development of training materials for the Division, and became Company Secretary of KPMG Peat Marwick Financial Services Pty Ltd. Phil has served on, and worked with, a number of Boards, including the Board of Alpine Resort Tourism (BART), and the Mansfield Mt Buller Regional Tourism Association including two years as Chairman. Phil lives in Mansfield and has three adult children. Aside from an interest in snow sports, he is active cyclist and plays golf competitively.

The water supply at Lake Mountain.
The water supply at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is drawn from the Echo Flat area of the ski trails. This is an unprotected catchment that is the headwaters of the Taggerty river. Under the provisions of section 6 of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Minister for Health has declared the water to be regulated water not suitable for drinking.
Bottled water is avaialbale at the visitor centre.
